The FLIR Ion M440 thermal drone recently acquired from Altavian is a tactical quadcopter. This drone is designed with military, firefighter, police and special forces in mind. Regardless of your environment, the system provides you with enhanced performance. Using advanced algorithms the Ion M440 drone is capable of flying in obstacle ridden and GPS degraded environments. The custom designed ground controller includes a Samsung T9 tactical smart phone. It is ATAK compatible and provides a tactical network interface, video, cursor on target, and more. The controller utilizes Altavian’s QGroundControl software.
